Brooklyn rapper V. Nova releases his recent visual on this music Monday called “I Still Love Her” from his album HiPS3: The New Commission.  The Crack Factory produced track is a classic transformation of New York hip hop without much braggadocios foolery.  Of course one may think he’s talking about someone he loves, but in my opinion he’s talking about hip hop as a metaphorical being who was misused, but now is coming back to the scene.  V. Nova speaks on that in his verse, “She still in love with the accent and charm / she still call me late night when it’s calm…./she went away cause she needed to reform / If it wasn’t the abuse she wouldn’t weathered the storm” with ample amounts of Hip Hop figures featuring Common, Nas on the screen provided by director MalikYouGotIt.   Take a peek at the video below and follow V.Nova
